Walt Disney Swan Hotel Resort – I cannot believe I never posted this video. Between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there is a sprawling upscale Walt Disney resort just 3 miles from Disney Springs. It was one of the first high end hotels I had ever been in.
This really is an awesome place. I had a wonderful time and the family loved the experience. Check out more of our videos at Mr Medina youtube channel.
Swan Hotel Review Walt Disney Resort
The Swan Hotel in Orlando Florida has a large boardwalk area you can walk filled with shops of all sorts. There is ice cream, pizza, souvenir shops, you name it they have it. My wife had to go into a few of the shops to see if there was anything she just had to buy.
Of course, we ate ice cream and walked around. There is a large circle walkway that houses several entrances to other themed resorts like the Walt Disney Dolphin resort. I believe there were two more but I can’t remember the names.
You can play a round of mini-golf. They have a tennis court, basketball court, and of course a spa. You can even rent a tricycle to ride around on. I had to help this older woman and her grandson because at one point the boardwalk went up and it was just too much for them.
Swan Hotel / Lake fishing?
You can also go fishing, rent small boats and they offer water taxis to the nearby theme parks and a shuttle service to other Disney resort locations. There are five pools (including one with a waterfall, a waterslide and a sandy beach), along with a luxe spa and two health clubs. Dining options include a sushi bar, a steakhouse and a casual family eatery featuring Disney characters.
Beautiful Hotel Room
The Swan Hotel is filled with contemporary rooms, equipped with flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges and in my opinion amazing pillows. My wife went online to order some for the house. Some of the room have views of the hotel lake. Upgraded suites offer sitting areas, wet bars and/or pull-out sofas.
Overall, we had a great time and the hotel is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy – I give it five stars, in my opinion that is.

Swan Hotel Review
If you like reading hotel reviews, my wife certainly does. Consider reading this one on both the Swan and Dolphin Walt Disney resorts by Tom Bricker.
The Swan and Dolphin still might be good options, especially if you’re looking for a luxury experience, excellent amenities, or close proximity to the parks at a lower price point (and who knows, maybe your kids will be drawn to the “pyramids” of these hotels – I was as a child!).
While the resort fees do bug me, the fact remains that prices here are significantly better than comparable Disney-owned hotels even with added costs factored in, and the amenities give virtually every Disney-owned hotel a run for its money. Read more at disneytouristblog.com
